Client Brief The nature of Cerno's personnel assessment work meant that their new premises had to house a number of interview and candidate rooms in a relatively restricted space. Privacy was paramount and natural light was a strong preference.

Parlante Solution After inspecting Cerno's existing premises, a dark, overbearing, 'timber on timber' fitout from the eighties made it easy for us to offer the client a contrast - a fresh, bright, fun and light working environment that matched the personalities of it's occupants.

Our methodical approach to space planning allowed us to accommodate all the necessary offices & facilities, into a very tight footprint.

Due to the high density nature of the fitout, glazed partitions were used to allow natural light penetration to the centre of the floor. To maintain privacy to the internal rooms, a simple & clean graphic was introduced to the glass partitions. This film also added colour to an efficient, but otherwise, lifeless circulation way.

A selection of new exciting pieces of furniture for the public areas contributed to the sense of fun and vibrancy.
